An exfoliating cleanser for dull skin should never mean scrubbing your face raw. The Apple Enzyme Exfoliating Cleanser dissolves buildup.
Skin renews itself roughly every 28 days. Dull surface cells and clogged pores slow that process down. This cleanser combines washing and gentle exfoliation into a single step.
Bromelain from pineapple and papain from papaya dissolve surface buildup on contact. Beet-derived lactic acid works alongside sugarcane, bilberry, sugar maple, orange and lemon extracts to even out tone. Together they resurface skin without a single scrub.
Licorice root extract calms as you cleanse. Organic rose hydrosol replaces plain water as the base, so every wash carries a calming, balancing effect. Skin rinses soft, never tight or reactive.
Most exfoliants ask you to choose between daily cleansing and occasional treatment. This one does both at once. Normal to oily skin can use it every day. Sensitive or dry skin should start every other day and build up from there.
Most people rinse a cleanser within 10 to 15 seconds. That is not enough contact time for enzymes and acids to work. Massage this cleanser for a full 60 seconds and the difference becomes visible within a week.
This suits dull, congested or unevenly toned skin that wants exfoliation without physical scrubbing. It also suits anyone who wants to simplify a multi-step routine into one. Always follow with SPF the next morning, since exfoliation increases sun sensitivity.
Exfoliated skin absorbs actives more effectively, so use this cleanser first. Follow with the Apple Enzyme Resurfacing Serum for continued brightening, or the Bakuchiol Face Oil for a plant-retinol routine. Either way, follow up with SPF the following morning.
Wet skin with lukewarm water. Massage a small amount into a light lather for 30 to 60 seconds. Rinse thoroughly, then continue with serum and moisturizer as usual.

| Benefits For Users | Who Is It For | Why It works | Pro Tips |
|---|---|---|---|
| 🍎 Exfoliates and cleanses in one step | Anyone who wants an efficient routine | Fruit enzymes and plant-derived AHAs dissolve dead skin cells while plant surfactants clear away impurities, at the same time. | 💡 Pro Tip: Massage for a full 60 seconds. Contact time drives visible results more than product strength. |
| 🍍 Dissolves dead skin cells with fruit enzymes | Dull, rough or congested skin texture | Bromelain from pineapple and papain from papaya break down the surface keratin that makes skin look flat and feel rough. | 💡 Pro Tip: Use as a 3-5 minute enzyme mask once a week for a deeper reset. |
| ✨ Brightens uneven tone over time | Dullness, uneven tone or post-acne marks | Beet-derived lactic acid is one of the gentlest AHAs, resurfacing without the sensitivity risk of stronger synthetic acids. | 💡 Pro Tip: Give it 4 weeks of consistent use. Brightening compounds, it doesn’t happen overnight. |
| 🌿 Calms post-exfoliation redness | Sensitive, reactive or redness-prone skin | Licorice root extract soothes the skin’s response to exfoliation, so redness fades faster. | 💡 Pro Tip: Follow immediately with a hydrating serum while skin is still damp. |
| 🌹 Balances skin with real rose hydrosol base | All skin types, especially dehydrated or uneven skin | Organic rose hydrosol replaces water entirely, so every wash carries its calming, balancing properties alongside the exfoliation. | 💡 Pro Tip: Finish with a cool water rinse to close pores after exfoliating. |
