The Watermelon Cucumber Hydrating Serum is built to do one thing exceptionally well — draw moisture deep into the skin and lock it there. Organic watermelon hydrosol and organic aloe vera leaf juice form the dual base, replacing plain water with two biologically active hydrators. Polyglutamic Acid from natto beans, Hyaluronic Acid, and Rice Ceramide then work in layers to deliver and seal moisture from surface to barrier.
Most hydrating serums rely on Hyaluronic Acid alone. This formula goes further. Polyglutamic Acid (PGA), derived from fermented natto beans, holds up to 5,000 times its weight in water — significantly outperforming standard Hyaluronic Acid for surface moisture retention. PGA also forms a film on the skin’s surface that slows moisture loss, making it a true water-locking ingredient.
Paired with Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid), which draws moisture from the environment into deeper skin layers, these two humectants work at different depths for layered, lasting hydration. Rice Ceramide then seals the skin’s moisture barrier at the lipid level — the final lock.
Watermelon hydrosol and aloe vera form the base. No harsh chemicals. Pure enough to eat.
Singapore’s air-conditioning strips transepidermal water loss daily. Outdoor humidity then temporarily rehydrates the surface — only for the cycle to repeat. Beta-Glucan from oatmeal reinforces the skin barrier with anti-inflammatory, soothing support. Irish Moss Extract delivers marine polysaccharides that further strengthen moisture retention.
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) brightens, minimises pores, and regulates sebum — addressing the uneven texture and congestion that Singapore’s humidity accelerates.
White Tea Leaf Extract adds potent antioxidant protection against year-round UV exposure. Sodium PCA and Olive Squalane round out the formula with lightweight barrier nourishment.
Key Ingredients That Lock In Moisture
• Polyglutamic Acid (PGA, from Natto Beans) — Holds up to 5,000x its weight in water; forms a moisture-sealing film on skin’s surface
• Organic Watermelon Hydrosol — Antioxidant-rich distillate; more bioactive than plain water
• Organic Cucumber Hydrosol — Soothing, anti-inflammatory distillate; calms Singapore’s heat-reactive skin
• Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid) — Draws moisture from the environment into deeper skin layers
• Rice Ceramide (Oryza) — Seals the lipid barrier; locks moisture in at the structural level
• Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) — Brightens, minimises pores, reduces sebum; key for Singapore’s humidity-related congestion
• Beta-Glucan (from Oatmeal) — Anti-inflammatory barrier reinforcement; soothes and calms
• Irish Moss (Chondrus Crispus) Extract — Marine polysaccharides for moisture retention and skin-smoothing
• White Tea Leaf Extract — Potent antioxidant; protects against UV-induced oxidative stress
• Sodium PCA — Naturally occurring amino acid hydrator; skin’s own moisturising factor (NMF)
• Organic Aloe Vera Leaf Juice — Anti-inflammatory soothing base; calms and conditions
• Olive Squalane — Lightweight, non-comedogenic emollient; nourishes without heaviness
Follow these steps for best results.
Tip: For an intensive hydration boost, try double-layering — apply the first layer, allow 60 seconds to absorb, then apply a second layer before moisturiser. PGA’s water-locking film is strengthened with each application and does not feel heavy or occlusive on the skin.

| Benefits For Users | Who Is It For | Why It Works | Pro Tips |
| Polyglutamic Acid locks moisture on the skin’s surface | Those whose skin feels dry again within hours of moisturising | PGA from natto beans holds up to 5,000x its weight in water and forms a moisture-sealing film on the skin’s surface — a true water-locking ingredient, not just a humectant | 💡 Pro Tip: Apply to skin that is still slightly damp from cleansing — PGA performs best when there is existing moisture present to draw in and seal |
| Layered hydration from surface to barrier | Dehydrated skin, combination skin, heavily air-conditioned environments | Three humectants work at different depths: PGA at the surface, Hyaluronic Acid in the mid-layers, Sodium PCA at the skin’s own NMF level | 💡 Pro Tip: Layer this serum under a moisturiser — the ceramide-sealed barrier created dramatically improves the performance of whatever you apply on top |
| Rice Ceramide seals the lipid barrier | Those with a compromised barrier from over-exfoliation, retinol, or environmental stress | Oryza (Rice) Ceramide replenishes the lipid matrix of the skin’s barrier — preventing transepidermal water loss (TEWL) structurally | 💡 Pro Tip: Use this serum after any exfoliating treatment to immediately restore the barrier — ceramide is what skin loses fastest after AHA, BHA, or physical exfoliation |
| Niacinamide brightens and minimises pores through Singapore’s humidity | Those with visible pores, congestion, or sebum imbalance in tropical conditions | Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) regulates sebum production, reduces pore appearance, and inhibits melanin transfer for brighter, more even skin tone | 💡 Pro Tip: Consistent twice-daily niacinamide use shows visible pore minimisation in 4–8 weeks — results compound over time |
| Watermelon and cucumber hydrosol base — not plain water | Health-conscious consumers who read ingredient lists | Organic Watermelon Hydrosol and Organic Cucumber Hydrosol are biologically active distillates containing the plant’s natural compounds — every drop of the base is working | 💡 Pro Tip: Store in a cool, dry place — hydrosols are more delicate than plain water bases and benefit from being kept away from heat and direct sunlight |
| Anti-inflammatory barrier support for Singapore’s climate | Sensitive, reactive, and redness-prone skin types | Beta-Glucan from oatmeal and Irish Moss Extract together deliver anti-inflammatory and marine polysaccharide support that calms, soothes, and reinforces the skin barrier | 💡 Pro Tip: If skin is reactive after sun exposure, apply this serum first to cooled, cleansed skin — beta-glucan and aloe vera are among the most effective calming actives available |

Natural ingredients may vary in color and consistency
A. Polyglutamic Acid (PGA) is a natural polymer derived from fermented natto beans. It holds up to 5,000 times its weight in water — significantly more than Hyaluronic Acid’s 1,000 times. Beyond drawing moisture in, PGA forms a film on the skin’s surface that slows moisture evaporation. In this serum, PGA and Hyaluronic Acid work together: HA draws moisture into deeper layers while PGA locks it in at the surface. The combination is more effective than either ingredient alone.
A. Yes. Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) regulates sebum production and minimises pores — making this serum particularly well-suited to oily and combination skin in Singapore’s humidity. Olive Squalane provides lightweight barrier nourishment without heaviness or congestion. The serum absorbs quickly and does not leave a greasy finish.
A. Both appear in this formula. Organic Citrullus Vulgaris Distillate (Watermelon Hydrosol) is a steam-distilled water from watermelon that forms the base of the formula, carrying the plant’s volatile compounds in water-soluble form. Citrullus Vulgaris (Watermelon) Extract, listed later, is a concentrated botanical extract providing antioxidants, amino acids, and lycopene. Together, they deliver watermelon’s full skin benefit profile.
A. Oryza (Rice) Ceramide is a plant-derived ceramide that replenishes the lipid matrix within the skin’s moisture barrier. Ceramides are the structural mortar between skin cells — when they are depleted by over-exfoliation or environmental stress, the barrier leaks moisture. Including Rice Ceramide means the formula is not only delivering moisture but also repairing the barrier structure that keeps it there.
